Resumo

The results of two archaeological excavation campaigns are presented. These interventions have been carried out in one of the insulae of the city of Ategua, the one identified as no. 37. Between the 1st and 2nd centuries, there was a bakery located in this area, the first to be found at this site. The importance of this type of craft establishment, in particular the one presented here, is demonstrated by its location in the city: at the crossroads of the two main streets, next to a thermal complex and in front of the block that we assume to be the forum. Its destruction and abandonment was caused by an earthquake in the last third of the 2nd century
