Abstract
The central objective of the present study will be to analyze the narratological structure underlying those types of stories that are constituted as discursive tools for redirecting individual and social behavior towards attitudes and behaviors guided by two basic and deeply interrelated feelings in human beings: hate. and fear. In this sense, we will reflect on the consequences, in the field of respect for human rights, of narrative attempts to redirect the collective social imagination through this type of stories directed against those especially vulnerable subjects and groups. Lastly, we will complete our study by reflecting on the place that these stories based on hate and fear occupy in the contemporary world, conceiving them as one of the characteristic components of the postmodern transition of biopolitics to psychopolitics (Byung-Chul Han).
