Background: Despite of the great importance that the contents and procedures developed in Applied Physics have for the comprehension of others subjects of the Pharmacy Degree, it has been detected strong deficiencies in their assimilation. Among them highlight, the difficulties in the assimilation of the contents, the developments of the critical thinking skills, together with problem-solving ability. Method: This learning experience is based on the use of different practical cases and problems that have been worked in groups, inside and outside the class. The key for the development of this approach is the use of audiovisual resources like projection of images, videos and photographs that helps to the students reasoning. As evaluation tools it have been employed rubrics, questionnaires and the teacher notebook. Results: The analysis of the results obtained shows more than the 85% of the students were able to resolve the practical cases in class, with the aid of the audiovisual resources and the studentprofessor feedback. However, a lower percentage of students were passed the out classroom tasks. Conclusions: The results show how the combination of audiovisual resources and the student-professor feedback helps to solve problems by comparison with the traditional methodology.
