Abstract

With the previous experience in subjects of the Area of Physiology of the Pharmacy Degree, of the University of Seville, we have intended that students acquire competitions related to their professional experience. It has been materialized, as learning objectives, the use of instruments for measuring physiological variables and management of laboratory instruments, promoting collaborative work. The knowledge of techniques and instrumentation for practical application are based on the actual use of technology, similar to those the students used at a professional level. It has been incorporated different software in diverse subject areas where students have to work with such application activities and information management. The results show that Technological instruments have contributed to the acquisition of the objectives on the construction of conceptual knowledge and procedural knowledge on the thematic of the subject. This experience has demonstrated that the fact of solve real problems can be an integrating element among the contents, activities and the learning process. The resolution of the tasks proposed in the simulators, applying the knowledge and skills acquired in their studies, contribute to the student motivation in their professional expectations.
