Abstract

Novel 115.3 preserved the old provisions on indignitas favoring the call to succession to descendants but preserving the ereptio in certain cases. Novel 115.3.14 introduced as a new cause the non-profession of the Catholic faith as well as the denial of the conciliar canons. In the middle of the XIII century, Alfonso X carried out his great legislative work to limit and unify the local rights of the reconquered cities, embodied in Fuero Real and in Siete Partidas, including the sanctions of heretics.
