Resumo

Futsal is a sport that has been on the rise in recent years. It is an intermittent high-intensity team sport played in small side with high physical demand. The main purpose of this study was to analyse and determinate the relationship between body composition and performance markers such a vertical jump, sprint, change of direction, power outcomes and intermittent performance in 1st division female futsal players. Eleven 1st division players participated in this study (N=11; 21,55 ± 4,32 years; 162,09 ± 5,56 cm; 60,17 ± 8,05 kg) Results showed that body composition and performance are different according their tactical position. Although, body composition is correlated with sprint and power outcomes. CMJ is correlated with 10, 20 meters sprint and change of direction as well as VIFT is correlated with 20 meters sprint.
