Abstract

This research examines the situation of Chinese immigrant adolescents residing in the Andalusia Community through a geodemographic and social perspective that addresses their integration into Spanish society, identity, and acceptance of biculturalism. It o ffers a fresh insight into the study of immigrant groups in the field of human geography and promotes the exploration of the Chinese community in Spain. Through the utilization of online questionnaires and interviews, a comprehensive analysis has been cond ucted on Chinese adolescents living in Andalusia, considering aspects such as age, geographical distribution, gender ratio, educational level, Chinese language proficiency, as well as their adaptation and identification process within a multicultural socie ty. The research findings indicate that, in comparison to previous generations of Chinese immigrants, descendants of modern Chinese migration find it easier to integrate into Spanish society; most of them express satisfaction with their lives in Andalusia and demonstrate a profound affection for both China and Spain, foreshadowing a new horizon for friendship and future development between the two countries.
