Abstract

This paper provides an overview of recent research focusing on unaccompanied migrant children and adolescents. In particular, it advances an ongoing review of the difficulties faced by socio-criminological studies in this field and the strategies and methodological approaches that are intended to solve them. The aim is to highlight the research experience already available and the difficulties of researching with and on minors. The difficulties of researching with and on migrant minors are even greater when it comes to longitudinal studies.
