Doctor by the Universidad Pablo de Olavide with the thesis La tradición francesa de la teoría económica del empresario y su influencia en los autores españoles decimonónicos 2003. Supervised by Dr. José Mª O'Kean Alonso.

After completing my Degree in Economics in Seville, I went to the University of Paris 1, Panthéon-Sorbonne to pursue my studies in the history of economic thought. I received a Master’s research degree at the University of Seville followed by a Doctoral degree at the University Pablo de Olavide. Today I am associate professor at the University Pablo de Olavide. In my thesis, I examined aspects of the French economic thought which exerted a large influence in Spain. My interests thus lie in the history of economic thought during the 18th and 19th Centuries.
