Specialist in scholarly communication and information science, with academic training in Humanities (Universidad Pablo de Olavide) and Library and Information Science (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya), as well as a Master's degree in Libraries and Digital Information Services (Universidad Carlos III de Madrid). Currently serving as Head of Learning and Research Support Services at the Library/CRAI of Universidad Pablo de Olavide, where I also teach as an Associate Professor in Library and Information Science and coordinate the Official Master's Degree in History and Digital Humanities. With over fifteen years of professional experience, I have designed and implemented training programs aimed at undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students, as well as academic and research staff, focusing on digital literacy, scholarly communication, and research evaluation. My work also involves expert consulting in research assessment and scientific publishing, advising authors, editors, evaluators, and decision-making bodies within the evolving framework of open science and responsible research assessment. In addition, I direct the Postgraduate Certificate in Research Support Services: Information, Data, Evaluation, and Scholarly Publishing, designed to professionalize those working in the academic information ecosystem. I am a member of the National Accreditation System Evaluation and Monitoring Commission (ANECA), contributing to the development and refinement of evaluation criteria within the Spanish higher education system.
