Abstract

This article analyzes the differences in basic digital skills among college students of Social Education, Social Work and Pedagogy attributed to gender variable. The study is contextualized into two Spanish Public Universities (National University of Distance Education and University Pablo de Olavide) in a sample of 923 students. The research is faced through a quantitative methodology from a Bayesian approach. The results show that men have a higher perceived competence in digital mapping and in developing online presentations than women. On the contrary, it was observed that women tend to prefer to attend tutorials and have a higher perceived competence in the use of University email. Resumen traducido al inglés.
