The intention of this article is to share an action-research experience which is still in progress, based on the design of teaching guides for students of teacher-training at theCardenal Spinola in Seville University. This project with teaching guides constitutes an attempt to explore new working methods at university to encourage pupils¿motivation in teaching-learning processes, to encourage active learning as an alternative to traditional teaching styles, and to foster the desire for knowledge and the desire to learn
