Abstract

The article presents a diachronic route that describes a college innovative experience based on the development of multimedia concept maps in order to analyze the perceptions of students about the advantages and disadvantages of the use of Information Technology and Communication (ICT) education. These maps were presented with the Prezi application, students who attended the course in Information and Communications Technology in Undergraduate Degree in Social Education and Dual Degree in Social Education and Social Work during three academic years 2010 to 2013 at the University Pablo de Olavide. The methodology of qualitative and descriptive allowed to review the contributions made by 342 students. Among the key findings highlighted that future educators value the educational benefits of ICT for improving learning processes.
