Velocidad de sprint y fatiga en un torneo de rugby 7 femenino

Resum

El objetivo del estudio es determinar la aparición de fatiga neuromuscular provocada por la participación en un torneo de rugby 7 femenino. 16 jugadoras realizaron test de velocidad en 40 metros antes y después de participar en tres partidos en un torneo. Los movimientos realizados durante el juego fueron monitorizados mediante GPS. Los resultados muestran una pérdida de rendimiento en la capacidad de aceleración (Tamaño Efecto TE= 0,45 ± 0,60), y no así en el tiempo en 40 m (TE=0,23 ± 0,60) ni en la velocidad máxima (TE= -0,18 ± 0,61). Como conclusión, la fatiga provocada por un torneo de Rugby 7 femenino puede ser evaluada mediante la realización de test de velocidad, sobre todo en los primeros metros.
