Abstract

The purpose of this project is to generate transformative knowledge in the students of Social Work using the tool of didactic and interactive video. We take as a starting point the contributions of Critical Theory as an epistemic framework that considers human rights as spaces for combating human dignity from a complex perspective that questions the structural logics of oppression and puts in the centre for individuals and specific groups suffering from rights violations. Education is seen as a construction process whose purpose is social transformation. The video reviews some of the public policies present in our context and rescues practical experiences in which it is the affected people themselves who narrate their resistance strategies by valuing their capabilities.
