The professional profile of the translator is complex, and integrates a number of closely linked subcompetencies, which make up the translating competence. During the years of university education, teachers must help future graduates to develop this translating competence in all its aspects: linguistic, thematic, instrumental, etc. In recent years, there has been a demand for translators capable of using various computer tools to support translation (translation memories, text corpora, etc.), especially in the case of translation into a foreign language or inverse translation. In this contribution we present a teaching innovation project carried out during the 2021-2022 academic year in two inverse translation subjects (Spanish-French) from the Degree in Translation and Interpreting at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide. The main objective of the project was the integration of these tools in the training tasks proposed to students in order to contribute to improving their professional profile
