Resumen
El lenguaje matemático es una segunda lengua clave para el desarrollo tecnológico. En este estudio se describen las similitudes entre el lenguaje matemático y otros idiomas desde la perspectiva del aprendizaje para hablantes no nativos. Desarrollando la formulación de cada competencia idiomática en el lenguaje matemático y haciendo uso de ejemplos de situaciones evaluativas. Asimismo, se subrayan los fundamentos de la enseñanza de idiomas para trasladarlos al aprendizaje del lenguaje matemático y, a su vez, al aprendizaje de las propias matemáticas. Igualmente, se han resaltado las ventajas del lenguaje formal y las matemáticas para el desarrollo tecnológico y su aplicación a la enseñanza y acreditación de las segundas lenguas. En conclusión, se describió cómo analizar la competencia del alumnado en el uso del lenguaje matemático, ya que su uso fluido resulta esencial para comunicar y expresar conocimientos en las diferentes disciplinas científicas.
