Abstract

The video games increase their potential audience to be presented in formats and platforms becoming more accessible, as smartphones and tablets. Leisure time and casualentertainment supported by video games for minors can be a suitable way to develop skillsintuitively and easily, taking advantage of the interactivity, the motivational component, theimmersive capacity and connectivity of these digital resources to acquire certain learning.Specifically, the educational potential of video game Farm Heroes Saga are analyzed, apuzzle game, based on the metaphor of the farm - available in app and Facebook - ableto increase the different intelligences in the players, defined from the multidimensionalperspective of the Theory of Multiple Intelligences (Gardner, 2010). On the one hand,the technical and aesthetic characteristics that define the game are described, and on theother, the intelligences that are activated by game mechanical are identified.
