Resumen

El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar el perfil antropométrico, composición corporal y somatotipo en jugadoras de fútbol bandera. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo con un total de 18 jugadoras (21.24 ± 1.39 años de edad) pertenecientes a un equipo universitario de México. Se hicieron mediciones bajo protocolo ISAK para caracterizar el perfil antropométrico y somatotipo. La composición corporal fue medida con la DEXA. Los principales hallazgos de este estudio mostraron un índice de masa corporal (IMC) de normopeso, estatura de 169.97 cm, porcentaje de grasa de 22.73 % estimado mediante antropometría y 28.46% con DEXA, masa libre de grasa de 45.18 kg, masa muscular, 38.78 %, por último, un somatotipo mesomorfo-endomórfico. Se concluye que las jugadoras presentan baja estatura con respecto a algunos deportes colectivos, además, mostraron niveles de porcentaje de grasa moderada, y adquirieron un somatotipo de un moderado desarrollo muscular.
