Résumé

Social research in physical activity cannot be limited to descriptive studies. It isnecessary to take into account an inner perspective with more participative methods. Theses stu-dies may provide a better understanding of the problem to be solved. Qualitative methods, inclu-ding discussion group as a technique, has been chosen in order to study the practice of sport atthe school situated in rural areas. Main findings are related with the importance of human resources, the lack of politics and the technical problems are basic questions in order to implementthese programs.
