Interdisciplina y corporeidad creativael método socioartístico en la producción de conocimientos democráticos

Resumen

Objective: Student participation in the university classroom is essential for the democratization of higher education. Cognitive production plays a decisive role when the plurality of knowledge is part of a project of society that respects diversity. On the other hand, the danger of cognitive capital in the university supposes the weakness of an education doomed to reproduce systems of domination. Hence, the relevance of finding alternatives that enable other inclusive ways of knowing. The creativity provided by artistic practice is one of these possible alternatives. The main objective of this article is to find in the field of interdisciplinarity the potentiality of creative corporeity in the production of democratic knowledge. For this purpose, we rely on a case study carried out in postgraduate classrooms. Specifically, in a module of the Master of Social Intervention, Diversity and Culture of the Pablo de Olavide University (Seville). Method: It refers to the socio-artistic method based on an interdisciplinary approach between the social sciences and the arts as a means of cognitive production. The most relevant aspects of this method are the creativity and the experiences of the participants, the theatrical praxis and the counter-hegemonic sciences. This method brings together techniques diverging from a sedentary and monolithic pedagogy. On the contrary, they are techniques from different disciplines that participate in the encounter with felt experiences and plural knowledge. Conclusion: According to the thematic centers of interest, the students were able to reach a level of learning based on the aesthetics of corporeality. An aesthetics that complements theoretical logic with symbolic performative forms, delving into the socio-historical understanding of our time. The result was the practice of a cognitive process that assumes interdisciplinary knowledge in the construction of inclusive educational spaces.
