Résumé
Our ethnographic work in the sierra of Huelva reflects on the social, cultural and economic process of locally based tourism: the emergence of a real estate business dedicated to managing tourist accommodation in a mountain town of almost 300 inhabitants has aroused great interest in the area. How do the logics of the global market adapt locally? Will the families of the area leave their houses (inherited and cared for) in the hands of the agency? Is this business considered local? More than a year of ethnography in the area (with systematic observation, interviews and discussion groups as main techniques), are allowing us to ethnograph the first reactions within the tourism market, but above all of the actors involved and to dimension its possible repercussion in the so-called rural crisis.
