Elena Bautista graduated in Languages at the Universidad de las Américas, Puebla (Mexico). From 2009 to 2010 she completed courses in Translation and Interpreting at the Université Stendhal/Grenoble III in (Grenoble, France). In 2006 she obtained ICELT certification (In-service Certificate in English Language Teaching) at Cambridge University. She also holds a degree in Body Language. In 2017 she completed an MA in International Communication, Translation and Interpreting at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide (Seville, Spain), where she is currently working on her PhD thesis. She is also doing a postgraduate course in Legal Translation. Since 2012, she has taught Spanish, English and French at Mexican and Spanish institutions. As a translator and interpreter, she has worked for Mexican, Spanish, and Canadian companies. Her main fields of research are legal translation, court interpreting and business translation and interpreting.
