Economist and PhD in Social Sciences from the Pablo de Olavide University of Seville. Extraordinary Doctorate Award 2018-2019. Master in International Economics and Development from the Complutense University of Madrid, and specialization diploma in Gender and Development. Lecturer in the Dept. of Economics, Quantitative Methods and Economic History at the Pablo de Olavide University of Seville (2015-present). Coordinator of the Master in Gender and Equality and member of the Academic Committee of the Master in International Relations. I am part of the research group EcoEcoFem (Feminist, Ecological and Development Economics) and the Interdisciplinary Center for Feminist, Women and Gender Studies (CINEF) of the UPO. I participate in national and international networks such as the Emancipatory Feminist Economics Working Group of the Latin American Council of Social Sciences, the Ibero-American Network of Research on Work, Gender and Daily Life, the Spanish Network of Labor History and the Inclusive Economics Network. I am also a founding member and current vice-president of the Gender, Economics, Politics and Development Observatory (GEP&DO) and vice-president of the Critical Economics Association. My research has focused on the study of economic institutions from the feminist economics approach, a field in which I have more than 30 scientific publications. My latest book (2021) is "Feminist Political Economy. Sustainability of Life and Global Economy" edited by Catarata and Fuhem Ecosocial.
