He is a graduate in Social Anthropology and is part of the Social Research and Participatory Action Group (GISAP) and the Department of Social Anthropology at Pablo de Olavide University. At this institution, he works as a lecturer while pursuing his doctoral thesis in Environmental Anthropology, funded by the Ministry of Universities through a national FPU contract obtained through competitive selection. His research has been published in academic journals such as the Journal of Rural Studies, Rural Sociology, and La Gazeta de Antropología, as well as in books edited by Aranzadi and Dikynson. He has also presented 14 papers at national and international conferences. He participates in the international research project I+D+I CRITURAL, which explores the relationship between tourism and rural crisis, involving researchers from Spain, Chile, and Ecuador. He has worked as a research technician at the University of Granada within the framework of the I+D+I project EDIFEM, which examined the relationship between social networks, drug dependencies, and youth from an ethnographic and feminist perspective. Currently, he has secured funding from the FPU state mobility subprogram to conduct a three-month research stay at the National Tourism Institute of Austral University of Chile.
