Abstract

The globalization of higher education gave rise to diff erent projects and educational policies, de-pending on the needs in the diff erent regions of the world. This was an opportunity to think and rethink edu-cation. We are currently facing two challenges that provide a new opportunity to review educational policies and the pedagogical principles that should support them. We are referring to the inclusion of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in the University and the Covid-19 health crisis. The world changes and the univer-sity cannot be left behind. What do we mean when we talk about teacher training? Are university professors included? What is the weight of pedagogy in the study plans? Refl ection and critical analysis of the educational scenario, both at a social and institutional level, are considered the fi rst step in designing pedagogically correct educational policies.
