Abstract
This paper presents some of the tasks of a session for students enrolled in the ESTALMAT (Stimulating Mathematical Talent) programme. Based on visual representations, tasks are proposed for students to make conjectures and justify what is being demonstrated, communicating their reasoning to the rest of the students in the group. In addition to introducing students to different demonstration techniques, we expect students to reflect on the generality of visual argumentation as against other analytical or algebraic procedures
