Doctor by the Universidad Pablo de Olavide with the thesis Integrando la ética y la gestión el papel clave de las competencias morales 2014. Supervised by Dr. Carmen Cabello-Medina, Dr. Joan Fontrodona Felip.

Rafael Morales Sánchez is Associate Professor in the Department of Management and Marketing of Universidad Pablo de Olavide, where he teaches Business Ethics, Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability. He has been a visiting professor at the IESE Business School and at the Department of Economics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. At his university, he has led several teaching innovation projects and his work has been recognised on two occasions with the Mention of Teaching Excellence. His research focuses on Business Ethics, Social Economy and the relationship between new business models and society (Economy of the Common Good, Collaborative Economy, Circular Economy, Biomimetics, among others). He has published numerous articles in the most important scientific journals in business ethics and sustainability, as well as book chapters in some of the leading Spanish publishers.
