Alba María Aragón Morales holds a degree in Sociology and Political Science and Administration from the Universidad Pablo de Olavide (2015-2020) and a Master's degree in Gender and Equality from the Universidad Pablo de Olavide (2021). She is currently working on her doctoral thesis on the media and political construction of the process of demographic change in Spain from a nationalist perspective and its gender implications. She has been recognized as the second-best graduate in Spain in Sociology (class of 2020-2021) by the Spanish Society of Academic Excellence. She has also been awarded the Young Prize for Scientific Culture 2020 in the Human and Social Sciences category, granted by the City Council of Seville and the CSIC. He has recently been awarded a Fulbright grant for a pre-doctoral research stay at the Center for European and Mediterranean Studies at New York University (USA) and a complementary mobility grant from the FPU program for a research stay at the School of Social Sciences at the University of Manchester (UK). She is currently a member of the working teams of several national and international competitive research projects. Among them, the project "UNTWIST: policy recommendations to regain feminist losers" (Horizon Europe 2021 call), the project "CS-Transcribe: research needs and development of a digital transcription tool for Social Sciences" (Digital Transition call of the National Research Plan 2021) and the project "Andalusia: beyond the art of living" (Andalusian Studies Centre 2022 call).
