Abstract
Stress can be defined as a situation in which the subject perceives difficulties or disability in their resources to dominate or exceed certain demands, external or internal, thus carrying a characteristic physiological and behavioral activation. Several physiological response of stress components influence the learning and memory processes. Teenagers usually present certain eating habits, which result in an unbalanced eating pattern. Those eating habits, which promote health at short, medium and long term, should be taught by way of nutrition education programs. However, it seems that the level of stress might influence the quality in which the information is retained.
