Abstract

One of the main aspects to be considered by physical education teachers is the motivation of their students. The educational experiences that involve it emotionally have much to say in the change of educational paradigm that has been brewing for some years. This exchange of educational paradigm does not occur in isolation, but within a broader social context (Bauman, 2006). Gamification, an emerging educational trend, is a powerful tool in this context. Especially if this is associated with traits of hacker culture such as solving problems -motor-applying ingenuity, the need to share, lateral thinking or to overcome limitations.
