Elena de la Cova is a full time Lecturer at the Department of Philology and Translation of the Universidad Pablo de Olavide of Seville, where she works since 2010. She graduated in English Studies from the University of Seville (2001) and in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Wales (2004), earning her PhD at the University of Seville in 2017. She also holds a Postgraduate in Translation and Technology from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (2008). Between 2011 and 2017, she was member of the research group JULIETTA (HUM547) at the University of Seville. She is currently one of the founding researchers of the Interglosia research group (HUM-996) at the UPO. From 2002 to 2018, she worked as a translator and localizer in various companies and institutions, being Localization Specialist at Google in Dublin (European Headquarters) between 2004-2009, and a freelance translator focusing mainly on web and app localization for leading technology companies (2010-2018). She has been author of various contributions in specialised journals and book chapters included in Scholar Publishing Index (SPI). Her research focuses on: • Web, software, and apps localization • Technology applied to translation • Translation processes
